Corporate Counsel

Legal guidance and institutional support, and Secretary to the University Council, the Senate and their committees.

The Corporate Counsel provides comprehensive legal guidance and institutional support to ensure the University operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Key responsibilities encompass legal advisory services, contract management, policy development, governance support, risk oversight, and dispute resolution.

The office also serves as Secretary to the University Council, Senate, and relevant committees, handling proper documentation, procedural compliance, and effective implementation of resolutions and decisions. The position supports the Council, management, staff, students, and external partners in strengthening governance structures and maintaining a properly regulated academic environment.
