Five faculties, one institute and the directorates that support them.
Faculty of Law (FOL)
Studying law at the Faculty of Law, RUCU is one of the best decisions you will ever make. The faculty offers programmes from certificate through to doctoral level, including the Master of Laws in Human Rights Law and a PhD in Law.
Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS)
The faculty was established in 2008, with one academic programme — Bachelor of Arts with Education. It has since broadened across the humanities and social sciences.
Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FICT)
Established in 2005, the faculty is a centre for ICT innovation and education, running programmes from Certificate in Computer Science and Certificate in Information Technology up to degree level.
Faculty of Education (FoE)
The Faculty of Education is the youngest faculty at Ruaha Catholic University and was founded in February 2018. It offers the Postgraduate Diploma in Education, the Master of Education and a PhD in Education by thesis.
Faculty of Business and Management Sciences (FBMS)
The Faculty of Business and Management Sciences consists of two departments: the Department of Accounting and Finance, and the Department of Management Sciences and Procurement.
Institute of Health and Allied Sciences
The institute delivers health and allied sciences training with clinical placements across the region.
Directorate of Library Services
The directorate maintains the university's physical and electronic collections, including e-books and the e-library.
